The Kiss Booth is a portal in the middle of the party, a meeting place for desire. Through a Latin appropriation of the photobooth, the project transforms the kiss into a collective experience, (self-)image, and archive.
The booth, constructed with mixed materials that allow glimpses of what happens inside, creates a tension between the public and the intimate, invoking not only desire but also the voyeuristic tensions inherent to photographic practice. As the kiss takes place, a live projection expands that intimacy onto the building as fragments of contact: skin, movement, and proximity.
More than documenting, this photographic and visual installation seeks to activate the collectivity of bodies and eroticize nocturnal landscapes as spaces that invite us to enhance and celebrate life.
